The CASA Aeronautical Radio Operators' Certificate course certifies you to operate on the VHF Airband Frequencies with manned aircraft and gives you the base knowledge you need to know when and where - and how, to use your Radio. The course covers all the required knowledge elements for you to gain your Aeronautical Radio Operators' Certificate (AROC). It includes a theory briefing you can watch at your own pace which is available immediately after enrolment. There is a practical element to the training also where you'll listen to and respond to various radio scenarios, the CASA theory examination itself (this is held in person at any of our RePL training venues) and finally practical use of the radio in a real or simulated environment.

To help you, Uncrewed Aviation Australia have created an online 'practical' exercise, voiced by us, that delivers real world RPA related radio calls and exchanges you may hear and need to make when operating at our near controlled or non-controlled aerodromes.
 
You will be required to sit a face-to-face exam when you are ready. These are held in conjunction with our RePL courses around Australia.
