This course option delivers the Remote Pilots Licence (RePL - Multi-Rotor)‚ with 7kg restriction, and CASA Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate (AROC).

To study for your RPAS licence, you will be required to attend our live Teams video sessions held fortnightly over 2 consecutive days, combined with self-paced online learning to further your knowledge. Once you have completed all the pre-requisite units, you will attend your practical flight training assessment and CASA theory exam at one of our venues across Australia.

The inclusion of 'AROC' in this course is self-paced study with an engaging presentation in your learner portal you'll have access to, along with all other resources required, once enrolled. You will sit an AROC exam after you have completed your RePL exam at the practical assessment day.
 
The units covered in all CASA RePL (Remote Pilots Licence) deliveries are:
1. RBAK - Basic Aeronautical Knowledge for RPAS
2. RACP - Airspace, Charts and aeronautical publications for RPAS
3. RBMO - Basic Meteorology for RPAS operations
4. REES - Electrical and Electronic Systems for RPAS
5. RHPF - Human performance for RPAS
6. RKOP - RPAS Knowledge, Operations and Procedures
7. RORA - Operational Rules and Air Law for RPAS
8. RAFM - Automated Flight Systems for RPAS
9. RBKM - Basic RPAS Multi-Rotor Knowledge
 
If you've attended the theory classes, you can book your practical venue. We hold courses nationwide regularly, so ask us, or pick the closest to you. At this venue, you'll sit your CASA RePL theory exam and AROC exam, then we start flying.

You'll complete a minimum of 5 hours flying our aircraft if you have no flight time at all. If you do bring some experience, this may shorten the amount time required for us to flight test you. As soon as your examiner is confident, you're at the required level, they will assess you. If successful, you will leave on the day with your CASA RePL licence with a restriction of 7kg.
 
The RePL is the foundation for everything you will do in uncrewed aviation commercially and will allow you to gain more experience and opens the opportunity to obtain further approvals and ratings as you go.
